Sinus Trouble

I used a Neti Pot!

To be precise I used a Navage Nasal Irrigation Cleaner. I won’t go into any details on using the device. You can watch how-to-videos on YouTube or even just read the very detailed instructions that came with the Navage.  Keep in mind that whither you use the Navage or a Neti Pot following the instructions is always important and getting over the fear of shooting water up your nose.

Once you have it figured out you’ll be impressed by how well it cleans your sinuses. One of the benefits about using the Navage or a Neti Pot is you can use them as often as needed. It’s a natural way to clear your nasal cavities without having to resort to medication.

I used the Navage twice a day for three days straight. I also used dōTERRA Breathe Respiratory Blend oil at the same time to help clear things up.  I rubbed the oil on my feet, chest, and sinus areas around my cheeks. There is a link below that will take you to a foot reflexology chart I used.  The chart shows places on your feet that are connected to your sinuses. I used the Breathe Blend four times a day, but it wasn’t long before I was down to three times a day, and then two times a day. If I experienced any sinus headaches during this time I would rub DoTerra’s PastTense Tension Blend on my forehead.
