My Daughter, Random Thoughts

They Grow Up Too Fast.

The other day I took a picture of our daughter and realized that she looks so much older than she did a few weeks ago. Our daughter will be three years old soon and she is looking less like a baby. Sometimes, I even think she looks less like a toddler.

They grow up so fast.

One minute they’re just little newborns that you can hold in your arms and the next they are big kids playing on their bikes. Don’t get so caught up with life that you miss their childhood. I’m telling you in a blink of an eye they grow up. In a blink of an eye they do not remain children for long.

Don’t agonize so much about how many toys they own.

Don’t worry so much when they stop you from doing a chore because they want you to watch their favorite cartoon with them.

Don’t get frustrated when they muddy their clothes.

Want you to read another book.

Push them on the swing.

Hold them when their sick.

One day, they won’t be there for you to do that. Childhood is a short phase of life. Enjoy it while you can and let them enjoy it while they can.
