The Great Purge

Nothing feels as good as a good purge. I purge about twice a year, but I  am always on the look out for useless stuff in my house that needs to go bye-bye.

I am in no way a minimalist. I have my fair share of stuff too and our book collection keeps multiplying.

There is something about creating more space in your house. There is something about letting go of stuff you thought you had to hang on to.

Seriously, give it a try.

It’s a very freeing experience.

On a side note: Keep a box in a closet or a garage and you can fill the box with stuff you want to donate. That way you won’t have the stuff you want to donate cluttering up your home and you don’t have to donate the items right away.

  1. The moment the weather allows open windows and doors, that is the moment I purge. Right now however, the snow and ice keep us indoors and it will be a miracle if by spring I haven’t drowned in our stuff. 😉

    1. Definitely snow and ice would keep me indoors too Brrr! I love when Spring arrives and you can open up windows to let in the fresh air. Spring does energy you to purge! In the meantime you stay warm! 🙂
